6 Months!!!

My baby girl is growing up fast!!! Devon and I can hardly believe she turned 6 months last Thursday!!! Here are her latest stats...

Height - 26 3/4 inches - 75 to 90%

Weight - 16 lbs 14 oz - 50 to 75%

Head - 44 cm - 75 to 90%

Yes, I know she is in a summer dress...this was Devon's idea of a surprise!!! My silly boy!!! Plus, its Houston and the weather changes every day!!!

Brooklyn & Noah at 5 Months

Last weekend we had a sleep over at the Bahrami's!!! The plan was to have dinner and let the babies play but both Brooklyn and Noah passed out before dinner was even ready. We had a delicious dinner, drank wine and watched Step Up 2 which progressed into Cyrus and Devon's dance off!!! It was HILARIOUS!!! The next morning we were finally able to get some pictures of the kids AWAKE...they are too cute!!!

Brooklyn was baptized on Sunday November 2nd, 2008. It was a very special day for her and I am thrilled that both sides of her immediate family and godparents were there to support her with their love and prayers!

HaPpY HaLlOwEeN!!! We had a great time visiting friends, going to dinner, Devon did some trick or treating and got to go to a Haunted House!!! Devon was originally going to be some blood pumping monster guy and at the last minute decided to be a Jamaican...yea mon!!! Gu3 would be proud!!! And Miss B was an adorable bumble bee!!! Devon for Vice President

Devon along with 30 other students ran for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer for their 5th Grade Student Council. I tried 9 million times to upload the video of his speech but apparently it is too large. His speech which he wrote all by himself is below, enjoy! Although he did not get elected I am extremely proud of him! So, I nominated him for Vice President of our house! :)

Devon’s Speech

Hi my name is Devon Lewis. I am running for Vice President because I am a hard worker and a fair and responsible student. My main objective is to encourage everyone to give their opinions for our school. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. I understand and believe that they are all important to contribute to a successful team. Imagine a baseball team, if everyone was a GREAT batter who would catch or pitch? The team would have a weak spot. The whole school is a team, we all matter. If you give me a chance and an idea, I will try to speak for you during our meetings.
I also think it is important for our school to learn about and get involved in charity. Helping organizations and others would teach us life long lessons. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me. Please vote Devon Lewis as your Vice President!!!
