Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day weekend was pretty busy...Devon and I took Brooklyn to try out The Little Gym, she LOVED it! Devon and I did some shopping. And I joined my parents in seeing Jay Mohr at the Improv...hilarious!!! Too bad its back to work and school tomorrow :(

Devon's 1st Day of 6th Grade

Devon started 6th grade yesterday at Mayde Creek! We were both up at 6:00 am so he could catch the bus at 6:42. He is taking all Pre AP classes plus marital arts, art and advisory. As of day two, he really enjoys junior high! He seems pretty impressed that MCJH not only has lunch lines but snack lines too. His only complaint was that he was assigned 2 different lockers that didn't work but this morning the vice principal was kind enough to assist him in finally getting a working locker. Good luck in school Devon! I love you!

Maddox's Birthday Party

The Sunday after we got back into town from our vacation we went to Maddox's 3rd Birthday Party at Monkey Bizness! It has all kinds of inflatable equipment plus a rock wall and air hockey. Both kiddos had so much fun running around!

Bummer Dudes

Well, we finally got Devon's camp pictures back today and I'm sad to say not one single picture turned out. I'm pretty bummed as I was looking forward to seeing his camp experience. Guess, I'll have to wait until next year to order the pictures that the camp offers.

Okay...for all my friends who have taught their babies to sign...Brooklyn & I have hopped on the bandwagon! During our vacation she learned milk and more. It was very impressive to see her catch on so quickly. I love being able to communicate with her vs. wondering what the hell she is pointing to or babbling about. LOL =)

Going through the book now to see what word to teach her next!
