Dev's Birthday Weekend

Okay, I'm rewinding to last weekend...Devon had a GREAT birthday weekend! Unfortunately, Brooklyn was not able to join in on all the fun since she had the flu. My poor baby was miserable but thankfully her daddy was able to help out. Friday night we had Devon's birthday dinner at Clay's with family and a few close friends.

Saturday, we went shopping and then we had Devon's basketball ceremony...his team tied for 1st place in their division.

Sunday, we went to the carnival and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to see Jonas Brothers! It was a long but fun weekend!!!

It's hard to believe that eleven years ago today I finally gave birth to you (after being a week late).

The moment I saw you I knew you had changed my life forever.

Through the years I've had the privilege to watch you grow from a beautiful, baby boy to a kind, smart, handsome, young gentleman.

I am very proud of the person you are and look forward to watching you continue to grow into the GREAT man I know you will be.
